Last month at The Makers’ Hub I did something a little different… Instead of running a crochet workshop I taught the concrete pots workshop, and I gotta say it was loads of fun!
If you’re a pin-a-holic like us I’m pretty sure you’ve got loads of crafting projects that you pin but don’t really get around to doing. So when the lovely Mikaela (owner of The Makers’ Collective and Hub), asked if I’d be able to teach the concrete pots workshop a little squee noise came out of me (my mouth not my bum 😉 ) Not only was it the perfect opportunity for me to use all the yoghurt pots I’ve been collecting but I could finally stop pinning and start making!
After a lot of research and testing all sorts of techniques and materials and we finally got something together that would work for a 2-hour workshop and with supplies that are easily attainable. We set the date and there was no turning back!
I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Friday evening, oh how times have changed 😀 And once again I made some new crafty friends who can share in my addiction!
