When my sister, Chloe came to visit me in Canberra at the beginning of June I wanted to show her EVERYTHING! And so the tour would not have been complete if we didn’t make a stop at The Makers’s Hub 🙂 And what better way for her to experience it than to do a workshop!
Lucky for us the amazing Flick was running her bath bomb workshop the week Chloe was here and so we learnt to make bath bombs.
The idea of making my own bath bombs has never really caught my attention. And, to be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever bought myself a bath bomb before… I’ve only ever received them as gifts so I was kinda interested to see what this process entailed.
As we got started it dawned on me that it was a lot of baking, from the techniques of mixing the ingredients to the tools and supplies.
And with the end results looking good enough to eat I suppose I shouldn’t have been surprised.
Chloe and I went mad with the glitter and put it in all our creations, and a month later I’m still finding glitter scattered all over our flat!
The 2-hour workshop was super fun, and was awesome to learn something new! And Chloe had a great time 🙂
Although I won’t personally be making more bath bombs they do make really awesome gifts 🙂
